BackOffice is once again open for label printing business!

We’re happy to report that we’ve recently released an update to BackOffice that restores integrated label printing.

As many of you may know, prior to this recent update, printing labels only worked in Firefox because other major browser vendors had removed support for the legacy technology upon which it relied. We understood that this was a significant challenge, heard your feedback, and set about to make the necessary updates to get this feature up and running again.

By working with the new DYMO Label software, we’ve been successful! You can now print Rectangle (1” x 1.5”), Large Rectangle (1.25” x 2.25”), Square (1” x 1”), and Butterfly labels when accessing BackOffice on your computer via any of the major modern web browsers. That means you can use Chrome (any OS), Firefox (any OS), Safari (Mac), or Internet Explorer (Windows).

To get started printing labels again, first make sure you’re on the latest version of DYMO Label (version 8.6.2). If you need help with that, simply follow the instructions on the ShopKeep Support site for DYMO installation and troubleshooting details. Once you’re set on that front, start printing by navigating to the “Label Printing” tab for any basic item, selecting the printer you would like to use, and clicking print. It’s that easy!

We’d love to hear any feedback on the printing process either in the comments section or via email at [email protected]. Thanks!
