Speedier Button Navigation in ShopKeep Version 2.14.0
Use the Button Page Index to find and add items faster.
For years, finding a specific page on your ShopKeep register has meant either a one-by-one, page-by-page crawl or swiping the bottom of the screen and hoping that you can get to the right tab by feel and force of habit. While these options may be simple and intuitive, like scanning for the right page in a book, they are also slow or inaccurate and become increasingly cumbersome with more button pages, not to mention with new employees not familiar with the page order.
In the latest version of the Register App we’ve added a feature to make navigation between pages much faster and easier: the Button Page Index!
Starting in 2.14.0, you’ll notice a new page tab on the bottom left of your Transaction screen. This new page contains a button for each of the button pages on your register, sorted alphabetically, like an index that jumps you exactly to the right page in a split second! Check it out below, highlighted for placement:
As you start using it, you’ll notice that the new tab remains always visible, making it possible to navigate to any page on your Register with only two taps! That means your tab scrolling days are over, and once your muscle memory starts to take hold, we think you’ll be adding items in real-time as customers ask for them.
