ShopKeep 2.0 represents a major upgrade to the look and feel of the ShopKeep POS app, perhaps the biggest since we first launched in the App Store in the summer of 2011.

We’re really proud of the speed, ease-of-use, and aesthetic appeal of the new app and we think you’re going to love it too. However, the new look did present us with a big challenge. Our product demo video had become seriously out of date.

We shot our original demo video in 2012 and it has served us well.  It was clear, to the point, and made it easy for small business owners to understand the value of ShopKeep POS. Nevertheless, we have grown a great deal in terms of functionality and aesthetics since 2012 and ShopKeep 2.0 provided the perfect impetus to film a new showcase for our new app.

We knew we wanted to shoot the app in a real-life small business – and we definitely knew we wanted to use a ShopKeep POS merchant. So, we put the feelers out amongst our local New York community and we were over the moon when Phoebe at Opalia Flowers in Brooklyn offered to host our video.  The interior at Opalia flowers is beautiful and full of natural light. It proved to be a fantastic place to shoot and we’re really happy with the end result.

We’d like to extend a huge thank you to Phoebe and the whole team at Opalia for their hospitality!

Let us know what you think of the new video in the comments.
