Some of the more eagle-eyed among you may have noticed a new tab that has recently appeared in the inventory management section of your BackOffice. That’s because we have been busy working to overhaul the way our retail businesses manage and print their labels.

This new functionality is designed to the replace the LabelKeep printing for Mac that many ShopKeep merchants have been using for some time. This original solution was a nice workaround that got the job done but we’re excited to now support a more convenient and more reliable solution.

So, What are the key benefits?

Set Up and Usage is a Breeze

LabelKeep was a standalone integration that could be tricky to set up and maintain. Our new solution, by contrast, is a seamless part of the our in-browser, BackOffice environment, so getting started and using the functionality is quick and simple. For anyone looking for support, you can check out our support article on the subject and give our friendly Customer Care team a call.

Functional on Windows

The LabelKeep solution was only available to those using a Mac Operating System. Our new label printing functionality will work for all Windows users too.

Print Labels Straight from your BackOffice

You can now print barcode labels for any inventory item directly from BackOffice, without any third party integrations. It’s a convenient, reliable, and consistent experience.

Continue with the Same Hardware

There should be no additional costs associated with this change as our new label printing functionality supports the DYMO LabelWriter 450 printer, which many of you have already been using to print via LabelKeep. One more thing, our LabelKeep integration is still fully functional and continues to be available to any existing customers who would like to continue using it.
