If you’re a restaurant manager or have a business using our Open Checks feature, you’ll likely find this update beneficial.

In the newest iteration of the ShopKeep app, we’ve added the ability to void specific line items from a saved check, and if applicable, also print a void ticket to the kitchen or prep room. A manager can now also choose whether to require manager verification to void items from a transaction.

With this update, we’ve resolved several pain points:

  1. You can save time by voiding entire transactions without having to delete line by line.
  2. You can prevent potential losses from theft by requiring manager verification for voids.
  3. You can alert ticket recipients such as kitchen staff by printing a void ticket when an item is removed from an order.
