We’re proud to unveil the story behind our new logo, tagline, and website design.

At ShopKeep, we’ve enjoyed some pretty fast-paced growth over the last few years. We now serve over 10,000 small business owners across the US and Canada, we’ve opened three offices (NYC, Portland, and Belfast, Northern Ireland), and we now employ over 130 people. In all that time, we’ve made a huge array of improvements and changes to our point of sale system – but our core mission has remained the same:

We exist to make small business owners more successful.

That goal is core to who we are as a business and will never change. However, as we’ve matured as a company and our footprint has spread further, we’ve had to take a look at how we communicate that core mission out to the world. This is not an uncommon process in the startup world – the logo and branding that works for you as a new, young company will often require a second-look as you start to become more established.

We’re lucky to have a talented in-house creative team that took the lead in rebranding ShopKeep and we recently asked our Creative Director, Matt Cullin to lead a company all-hands and explain the full process and reasoning behind the changes.

You can check out the video of that talk below:

We’d love to know what you think of our new branding in the comments below.  And remember, if you recognize the power of good branding, make sure to get your new logo onto your all new Custom Email Receipts.
