Attributes 776 Percent Revenue Growth to Expanding Customer Base

ShopKeep today announced it ranked 116 on Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500™, a ranking of the 500 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences, and energy tech companies in North America. ShopKeep grew 776 percent during this period.

ShopKeep’s significant growth follows a year of rapid growth for the company, in which their merchant customer base increased across the retail, quick-service and full service restaurant segments.

“The way small businesses run and grow their operations has been radically reshaped through technology, and ShopKeep has been at the forefront of bringing new capabilities to independent merchants with our cloud-based iPad point of sale.” said Michael DeSimone, Chief Executive Officer, ShopKeep. “It is an honor to be recognized by this prestigious organization as a top-ranked technology provider. We will continue to drive innovation and expand our capabilities to ensure we offer our customers a smart, connected, and easy-to-use POS solution that helps them both enhance and simplify the way they manage their business.”

This marks ShopKeep’s first time being ranked on the Technology Fast 500™, with the Company being the highest ranked provider of POS solutions on the list. Developed and designed for small business owners, by small business owners, ShopKeep transforms the iPad into a connected cash register. The nimble and secure iPad POS allows independent retailers and restaurants to tap into sophisticated operations management technology without the high level of costs and complexity traditionally associated with point of sale systems.

Overall, 2016 Technology Fast 500™ companies achieved revenue growth ranging from 121 percent to 66,661 percent from 2012 to 2015, with median growth of 290 percent.
