We Changed Our App Icons. Here’s Why
Research firm Retail Metrics recently announced that same store retail sales nationwide were up just 1.9% in February 2013, slightly lower than the original forecast of 2.5%. In addition, department store sales were actually down by 1% for the month.
Here at ShopKeep POS, however, same store merchants on our POS system had a 13% sales increase in February! Excluding quick serve restaurants, bars, restaurants, and other services, same store sales were up 9%.The 9% increase was driven primarily by specialty food and wine stores, which made positive gains across the board. This was offset by clothing stores and electronics stores which experienced a decline in sales during this time.
