Mexicue, “the sweet love child of red-hot Mexican and down-home, barbeque goodness”.  Sounds delicious doesn’t it?  The financial district seems to think so too. During lunch time yesterday the Mexicue food truck was parked on Broad Street in Downtown Manhattan.  They had a long line of hungry people craving a tasty bite of some Mexi-Cue cuisine.  In a food truck like Mexicue, there is not much space to cook, so the ShopKeep iPad register is perfect.

When chatting with Mexicue, they told us that before ShopKeep, they were doing the math by hand.  Crazy? I think YES!  Plus, math by hand means extensive lines.  In NYC, a long wait time is never a good thing.  Not only does ShopKeep help get the lines through faster, but it helps Mexicue keep track of what is selling well on a day-to-day basis.  Though it may not seem important, Mexicue has to buy enough food, right?

Not only does Mexicue have a catchy name, but also an advantage due to their ability to drive, park, cook and serve in a new location every day.  Why have the customers come to you, when you can go to the customers?  ShopKeep goes everywhere with Mexicue, getting customers through faster one “cha-ching!” at a time.

In the NYC area and can’t wait to taste some Mexicue?  Follow @Mexicue on twitter to find out where they are daily.  Don’t worry, they’re fast and tasty.
