— Former Web.com and American Express executive Andrew Gorrin to lead marketing for the rapidly growing ShopKeep 

NEW YORK – September 18, 2015 ShopKeep, the cloud-based technology and business management solution for more than 20,000 small businesses, today announced the appointment of Andrew Gorrin as the company’s new Chief Marketing Officer, effective September 21st. Reporting to President and CEO Norm Merritt, Gorrin will guide ShopKeep’s merchant acquisition strategy and determine its brand positioning in his role leading company’s marketing and communications departments.

Gorrin started his career with Brodeur Worldwide and then spent five years with American Express in senior positions focused on customer engagement and acquisition for its small business division, OPEN. He was also a Senior Manager at Dove Consulting, where he led client engagements focused on the retail financial service sector. Most recently, Gorrin served as Senior Vice President of Marketing for Web.com, leading the company’s customer acquisition strategy, its cross-sell and upsell programs, its inside sales team and managing the product portfolio for its custom website and social media product lines.
