First Data’s Former Leader of Strategic Partnerships to Lead ShopKeep POS Channel Business
Partnerships to fuel the next stage of company growth
NEW YORK, July 16, 2013 — ShopKeep POS, the leader in tablet-based point of sale to brick and mortar merchants nationwide, today announced it has appointed Todd Lasher to Vice President and General Manager of its Channel Business, representing an increased focus for the company on investing in partnerships.
Mr Lasher brings more than 20 years of experience leading strategic partnerships in the financial service industry. In his role, Mr. Lasher and his team will focus on building and managing the channel business at ShopKeep POS, and has already forged several new relationships with premium partners to provide merchants with the best valued-added services available.
“It’s an exciting time to join ShopKeep, with the company growing at an exponential rate,” said Mr. Lasher. “The next step in our growth is to expand further into the channel. ShopKeep is a software company, not a payments company, and we’re unique in that we don’t bundle payment processing in with our point of sale product. Mr. Lasher joins ShopKeep POS from First Data, where he held the position of Vice President of Business Development. He has also held senior positions at Money Network, CheckFree, American Payment Systems, UIL holdings, and General Electric.
