Every ShopKeep business is unique.

That’s why we’ve long offered you the ability to customize the button and page layout on your register, choose which discounts you can offer, what tender types you can accept, and more. Now, with version 2.6.2 of the register app, we’re excited to offer you a new level of customization: the ability to choose your default register screen!

What does this mean exactly? Well, it means that instead of returning to the Transaction screen every time you take an action on the register, you can choose to go to the Checks screen.

We expect this option to be especially valuable for bars and restaurants who often need to close out a number of open checks at the same time, but we’re also excited to hear about the other creative ways that you all plan to take advantage of it.

In order to adjust the screen on your account, make sure your registers are up-to-date on version 2.6.2 of the app and then simply go to the Register Settings section in your BackOffice and adjust the radio button. Then get updates on your iPad(s) and you’re all set. All roads will now lead to your Checks screen!
